zTecpc WARRANTS YOUR zT Branded LAPTOP, DESKTOP or SERVER, AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE ORIGINAL SHIP DATE. PROVIDED YOU RETURN IT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD zTecpc WILL, AT ITS OPTION, REPAIR or REPLACE DEFECTIVE PARTS FOR 1-YEAR FROM THE ORIGINAL SHIP DATE.
zTecpc offers extended service plans for an additional charge. Extended service plans may be purchased separately within 30 calendar days of ship date. An extension of accidental damage protection is NOT offered.
zTecpc offers a display warranty, for an additional charge, independent from the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Display warranties may only be claimed through zTecpc.
Pixel defects are defined as lit or stuck sub-pixels, or a pixel that will not light up, within the viewable area of the display. zTecpc will carefully check for pixel defects prior to dispatching the product to the End User. If the End User discovers a pixel defect during the warranty period, the End User is entitled to make a claim with zTecpc. zTecpc will, at its discretion, choose either to replace the display panel and/or its relevant components, or replace the system in its entirety.
The zTecpc display warranty may be claimed in combination with the terms of the standard warranty (including 2-way free domestic ground shipping).
Display warranties may only be claimed through zTecpc.
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE YOU MUST OBTAIN A RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER PRIOR TO SHIPPING YOUR DEFECTIVE zT Branded LAPTOP. RMA NUMBERS CAN BE OBTAINED BY CALLING zTecpc at 877-711-1777 USA & Canada or 001-971-501-2300 International, by email at Support@zTecpc.com, or Online by clicking the Help icon.
zTecpc will pay Ground Shipping BOTH WAYS for any proper warranty claim for 1 year from the original ship date if shipping to and from a physical address (no PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses) in the Continental United States of America. For Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, Puerto Rico, and USA Possessions & Territory addresses you will pay the shipping and insurance both ways.
THE RMA NUMBER MUST APPEAR PLAINLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHIPPING PACKAGING. TO EACH PRODUCT RETURNED FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, PLEASE ATTACH YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, RMA NUMBER, AND A DETAILED LIST OF THE MALFUNCTIONS THAT HAVE LED TO YOUR DISSATISFACTION AND WHEN THEY OCCUR. You must ship the products to zTecpc in their original packaging and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.
zTecpc OWNS ALL PARTS REMOVED FROM REPAIRED PRODUCTS. zTecpc USES NEW AND RECONDITIONED PARTS MADE BY VARIOUS MANUFACTURERS IN PERFORMING WARRANTY REPAIRS AND BUILDING REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS. IF zTecpc REPAIRS OR REPLACES A PRODUCT, ITS WARRANTY TERM IS NOT EXTENDED. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO HARDWARE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY or FOR zTecpc THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THE zTecpc TRADEMARK, TRADE NAME, OR LOGO AFFIXED TO THEM.
IF zTecpc CANNOT RESTORE YOUR zT Branded LAPTOP TO WORKING ORDER zTecpc will offer a cash payment or exchange value for the fair market value of your laptop just prior to its failure.
zTecpc PROVIDES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH ITS PRODUCTS; SUCH SOFTWARE IS WARRANTED SEPARATELY BY THEIR MANUFACTURERS
This warranty does not cover COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM THAT DO NOT MEET zTecpc's DEFINITION OF DEFECTIVE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LCD PANELS WITH LESS THAN FOUR (4) DEFECTIVE PIXELS, unless the No Defective Pixel guarantee is purchased (If the LCD screen is scuffed or scratched the defective pixel warranty on the LCD screen is void), AC Adapters and Batteries other than the original primary AC Adapter and Battery provided with the laptop (The original primary AC Adapter and Battery are only covered for SIX MONTHS from the date of purchase), normal wear and tear and any cosmetic damage to a Product that does not affect digital functionality, damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, damage caused by improperly packaging the warranted Product before being shipped in for repair, servicing not authorized by zTecpc, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by zTecpc. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF zTecpc, or IF ANY zTecpc SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED.
THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN EXPRESS OR IMPLIED zTecpc SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO zTecpc DEALER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION, EXTENSION, OR ADDITION TO THIS WARRANTY. zTecpc IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH zTecpc PRODUCTS.
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to zTecpc, back up your data Locally, or to a reliable Online storage. **zTecpc will not be responsible for any lost data for any reason.** Remove any removable media, such as USB drives, diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions of implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
IF FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER YOU SHOULD FAIL TO BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR zTecpc PRODUCT, YOU MAY RETURN IT WITHIN 30 CALENDAR DAYS OF ITS ORIGINAL SHIP DATE. IF IT WAS ORIGINALLY SHIPPED UNDER THE FREE SHIPPING PROMOTION A $25 DEDUCTION WILL BE MADE FROM YOUR REFUND, AND THE COST OF LASER TATTOOS, WRAPS, PAINT, PAINT PROTECTION FILM, REPLACING MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS, INCLUDING SHIPPING MATERIALS, AND EXPEDITED SHIPPING WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. To return products, you must, within 21 calendar days of your original ship date, call zTecpc’s Sales Department toll-free at 1-877-711-1777 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization Number, which must appear on all communications about the Returned Product, and on the outside of the shipping packaging. You must ship the products to zTecpc in their original packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. If you have Activated Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Office, it will not be accepted for refund or credit. Returned products including the original packaging must be in as-new condition, and all the manuals, USB drives, disks, power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with it. zTecpc will not refund shipping/handling and insurance costs. Customer must use whatever means is necessary to ensure that the product is returned to and received by zTecpc within 30 Calendar Days of the Date of SHIPPING (original ship date).
This warranty is only good in the United States of America. Repairs are only done at the USA zTecpc Repair Center (see Contact US). In the unlikely event that you would have to return your computer for warranty repairs when outside the USA, you would pay for the shipping/handling and insurance to and from the Repair Center.
This limited warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Any litigation under this agreement shall be resolved in the trial courts of Washington County, Oregon, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction on this matter.
